Description: The Princess Eman is part of the Travcotels fleet of cruise ships which is one of the largest cruise fleets on the Nile.  The ship has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Please note:  This cruise departs on Wednesdays.

 

Accommodation:  There are a total of 38 cabins which are double or triple, with the double cabins also being used for single occupancy.  All cabins are outside cabins with panoramic Nile views from their picture windows.

General Facilities:  This well appointed ship has a sundeck and pool area ample comfortable deck chairs and sun loungers.  The lounge bar is on the same top deck for convenience.

There is a 24 hour reception service and gift shop and a comfortable restaurant.  Where all passengers can eat at one sitting.

During the day traditional 5 o'clock tea is served.

In the evening there is live entertainment in the bar and lounge areas.  And this is a main part of your holiday with traditional folk loric shows and belly dancing.  Apart from the normal drinks the lounge bar also serves fresh fruit juice and cocktails.

You are encouraged to join in with the entertainment and DJ plays both international and oriental hits.

If you fancy a trip ashore visits are arranged to the terrific light shows in Luxor and Aswan where the monuments are illuminated whilst you hear the fascinating history of each temple - it is an unforgetable experience.

There are fax services on board needing to keep in touch with home or business.

Day 1 (Wednesday)
Check in & overnight in Luxor.

Day 2 (Thursday)
Visit the West Bank, overnight in Luxor.

Day 3 (Friday)
Visit Karnak & Luxor Temples, Sail to Esna & Overnight in Esna.

Day 4 (Saturday)
Visit Esna Temple, Sail to Edfu & visit Edfu Temple, sail to Kom Ombo & Overnight.

Day 5 (Sunday)
Sail to Aswan, P.M. Visit the high Dam, unfinished Obelisque and Philas Temple, Overnight in Aswan

Day 6 (Monday)
A.M. Optional visit to Abu Simbel, P.M. Felucca Ride, Overnight in Aswan

Day 7 (Tuesday)
Early sail to Kom Ombo & Visit Kom Ombo Temple, Sail to Edfu, Sail to Luxor via Esna & overnight.

Day 8 (Wednesday)
Check Out.

Please Note:  When joining a Nile cruise you are joining a cruise with an international client mix as the cruise will be accepting clients of many nationalities.

Additional Information:  The order of the itineraries maybe amended as a result of low water levels, adverse weather conditions, lock closure or other unforeseen circumstances. Moorings at night are usually alongside other cruise vessels which may affect views from your cabin and sightseeing, when possible is organised to avoid the heat of the midday sun.  When mooring sometimes diesel fumes can be evident.
