Description: These two sister ships have the decor and equipment to provide comfort, luxury and style combined with, a high level of service.  Built in 2001 they are modern in their services but with a classical decor giving a relaxed atmosphere.

Please note:  This cruise departs on a Wednesday

 

Accommodation:  The 66 double/twin cabins have picture windows overlooking the Nile and are fully air-conditioned with individual control in each cabin.

The ensuite bathroom has a shower and all are equipped with a hair dryer.

The cabins have TV with video and music channels, a mini bar and internal telephone.

In addition to the normal cabins there are Junior suites and Royal suites.

General Facilities:  The ship has a reception area with a botique and gift shop.  Safety deposit boxes are available.  The large restaurant offers international cuisine and seating which is in excess of cabin capacity of the ship.  An emphasis is placed on service both in the restaurant and in the large lounge bar with it's picture windows looking out accross the Nile.

During the evening there is entertainment in the bar plus a disco afterwards.  The ship has a reading lounge and there is also a billiards table.

The top oen deck is the sun deck with a swimming pool and two jacuzzi.  There is a bar plus extensive sun bathing area and shaded seating are, ideal for taking in the sights and scenery of the Nile whilst cruising.

Cruise Itinerary & Excursions:  

Day 1:
Check in. Overnight in Luxor.

Day 2:
Visit Karnack and Luxor Temple. Sail To Esna. Overnight in Esna.

Day 3:

Sail to Edfu and Visit Edfu Temple. Sail to Kom Ombo & Overnight in Kom Ombo.

Day 4:

Sail to Aswan. P.M. Visit the High Dam, Unfinished Obelisk and Philae Temple. Overnight in Aswan P.M. Optional tour to the sound and light show at Phiale Temple.

Day 5:

A.M. Optional visit to Abu Simbel. Overnight in Aswan.

Day 6:

Early sail to Kom Ombo and Visit Kom Ombo Temple. Sail to Edfu. Sail to Luxor & Overnight.

Day 7:

Visit Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple and Colossi of Memnon. Overnight in Luxor. P.M. Optional tour to visit the sound and light show at Karnack Temple

Additional Information: The order of the itineraries maybe amended as a result of low water levels, adverse weather conditions, lock closure or other unforeseen circumstances. Moorings at night are usually alongside other cruise vessels which may affect views from your cabin and sightseeing, when possible is organised to avoid the heat of the midday sun.  When mooring sometimes diesel fumes can be evident.

When joining a Nile cruise you are joining a cruise with an international client mix as the cruise will be accepting clients of many nationalities.

On entry into Egypt, you must obtain a visitors visa at the port of entry, the fee is £25 (subject to change). Sharm El Sheikh is considered a free zone, due to being located in the Sinai Peninsula. Travel on excursions outside the peninsula, the visitor’s visa is a requirement.

Please note:  For travel to most countries, a British passport must remain valid for at least 6 months after your scheduled return to the UK.
