Accommodation:
The accommodation is set in two high rise sections which
gives great views, being right on the beach. The 597
bedrooms are mostly twin bedded although there is the option
of an extra bed or bunkbed (for children). All of
the rooms have a full bathroom, satellite T.V., minibar,
safe, direct dial telephone and a balcony. The rooms
are air conditioned.
Facilities:
The hotel has both a large free form and rectangular swimming
pool surrounded by extensive sun bathing areas, with ample
sun loungers and parasols, and gardens which lead to the
beach. There is a poolside bar and restaurant leading
to the salon bar. There are buffet style restaurants
offering international style cuisine and also an Italien
show cooking section. the hotel has spacious lounge
areas and shops, including a boutique and newsagent.
The entertainment is offered is full and varied each day.
The
activities on offer include tennis, table tennis, multi
use court, pool, darts, dance classes and Spanish lessons.
On the beach watersports are available (payable locally)
and include windsurfing, sailing, water skiing, banana rides
and para ascending. There are also pedaloes.
The
childrens clubs are graded in age groups: 0-4, 5-8, 9-12
and 13-17 years (running 1/6 - 15/9).
Towns
and Beach: The hotel is right on the beach
and walk out from the hotel grounds directly onto the beach.
The hotel is surrounded by a wide selection of bars, restaurants
and shops to suit all tastes. The inland town of Alaior
is just 10 minutes away and is a typical Spanish town.
The capital Mahon is 30 minutes away. There is a regular
bus service from outside the hotel.
