Description: Built according to International specifications and classifications required by the Germanisher Lloyd. Length: 75 meters. Breadth: 14.4 meters. Draft: 1.45 meters. Technical Data: Marine Engine power 3 x 496 h.p. Caterpillar. Aqua Master Rolls Royce manoeuvring. Electric Power 3 x 45 k.v.a. caterpillar.  250 volt, 50 cycles. Complete water purification system. Complete sanitation system (to meet the Green Globe requirements). Also, the highest international safety standards are strictly observed. Fully air conditioned using USA Carrier systems (water coolers individually controlled) equipped with fresh air feeding and suction system. Radar and short wave radio. Internal/International telephone and internet. All partitions and ceilings are fire resistant and sound proofed throughout. Gift shop, beauty salon and Internet Cafe are also available on the mezzanine.

Design: The Architect behind the Alyssa is Pia Schmid (Swiss). Arch. Pia is specialized in hotel architecture and design. She is well known and recognized throughout Europe for her talent and many projects. The philosophy she adopted for the Alyssa is based on harmony of colours, nature of the ship local environment and usage of handcraft. Environment friendly attitude was adopted while working on the Alyssa. All designs, furniture, upholstery and cabin layout have been specifically designed for the Alyssa and not out of a catalogue, this includes the different pure woollen carpets designed for the different locations on the ship to enhance the final outlook.

Accommodation:  Total of 66 spacious cabins comprising of: 58 Double Cabins each 21 sq. meters approximately, 6 King Bed Cabins and 2 Suites. All cabins and suites are provided with a large panoramic/ultra violet window overlooking the Nile and are equipped with private deluxe bath. All cabins and suites are provided with individual first aid box, mini bar, fridge, bath tub/WC, hair dryer, ventilator, air conditioning, heating, telephone, radio (within TV), Sat TV, Colour television with video channels and music channels. Internet access, safe, carpeting, and sitting area. Non smoking rooms are also available.

Food & Drinks:  Large, one-sitting, deluxe Restaurant, capacity 135 seats, based on Full Board Plus offering national/international cuisine where a full and complete breakfast is served, three course complete Lunch Buffet and A La Carte style seating arrangement dinner. Afternoon tea and cakes. Midnight snack available. Fresh Juice, Soft Drinks are available, as are Egyptian Beer & Wine (served with Lunch and Dinner only in the main restaurant). Electrolux cuisine servicing the restaurant with international hygiene standard and environment friendly.

On the left of the entrance lies the Luxurious Sir Livingstone lounge bar (African style) with elegant & professional hand painted ceiling of Sir Livingstone journey on the Nile, engraved entrance door and ultra blue panoramic windows allowing vision of the Nile. The bar has piano for live music entertainment, LCD screen for data show and dance floor. Spacious Reception area to be used as meeting space.

Sundeck Bar has a flooring of Teak wood and all facilities to service for Sundeck and pool including two types of sun beds and also daybeds and convenient floor mats. Italian Terrace is situated on the 3rd deck offering Italian drinks and snacks. Moroccan Café is on 2nd deck with Moroccan designs and serving Moroccan drinks and snacks.

Sports, Leisure, Spa & Facilities: LTI Alyssa uniquely placed at the front of the ship on the fourth deck, a fully panoramic Green Wellness Centre. The Green Wellness Centre is equipped with only the latest and highest standard: mud bath, sauna bath, Jacuzzi, multi purpose gym including bicycle, rowing machine, treadmill and multi-purpose machine. To recuperate, the facility has a Vitamin bar. There is also a Licensed Masseur. Access Spa & facilities is against charge.

CRUISE ITINERARY: -

Whilst on your cruise we offer you a package of excursions as an optional extra and this programme includes at a cost of £80 p/p the following visits:  Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple, Edfu Temple, Kom Ombo Temple, unfinished Obelisk old and high dam and Philae Temple.

Meals on board Alyssa: During the seven day cruise, there is a full board basis provided consisting of breakfast, lunch and dinner served on board. The full board plus means that drinks are offered; soft drinks, fresh juice and local alcoholic drinks and will be served during meal time at lunch and dinner.

Day 1 (Wednesday)
On arrival you will transfer direct to your cruise in Luxor. Embarkation on Alyssa is the first step to begin this unforgettable cruise and we remain overnight at Luxor.

Day 2 (Thursday)
East Bank Sightseeing, discover the history and wonders of the Karnak Temples and the grandeur Luxor Temple. As an optional tour in the evening you can experience the amazing sound and light of the Karnak Temples, alternatively enjoy your evening at leisure in Luxor, where we remain overnight.

Day 3 (Friday)
Before sailing to Esna, you have the opportunity to enjoy an optional early morning tour of the West Bank Valley of the kings, Madinet Habu, Hatshepsut Temple and the Colossi Memnon. During lunch Alyssa will set sail and head south down the Nile to Esna, here we port overnight or Continue to Edfu for Overnight.

Day 4 (Saturday)
The morning starts with a very memorable visit to the Temple of Horus in Edfu by horse and carriage. Alyssa then sails on to Kom Ombo and after Lunch a visit to the double Temple of Kom Ombo completes a full day of amazing sightseeing and peaceful sailing. We now continue overnight sailing to Aswan.

Day 5 (Sunday)
The day begins by visiting the modern wonder of High Dam, Old Dam and unfinished Obelisk & the Ancient Philae Temple, home of the God Isis. Afternoon is spent relaxing at your Leisure and we remain overnight in Aswan.

Day 6 (Monday)
An early morning sunrise tour will take you to the glorious and mysterious Abu Simbel Temple of Ramses II, this is an optional tour, and perhaps the most impressive and unforgettable. Also as an optional tour in the afternoon is the felucca ride around the Agha Khan Mausoleum and tour visit to the Botanical garden. On this day there is no tour included in the cruise package, the day spent at leisure onboard if the optional tours are not taken. We remain overnight in Aswan.

Day 7 (Tuesday)
Alyssa begins her leisurely sail back to Luxor, here you will savour the memories of the magnificent Nile cruise, and enjoy your final evening in Luxor.

Day 8 (Wednesday)
Disembark Alyssa and make the return to the airport. During the day you have the opportunity to visit the museum of Luxor which is only five minutes from the port and is payable localy.

Comfort Pakage: -

Supplement for pre-booked Upper deck cabin £40 per person per cruise.  Includes 1 bottle of loacl wine, 1 bottle of drinking water, fresh fruit basker and cookies platter upon check-in.

Supplements for pre-booked wellness package £50 per person per cruise.  Includes one mud bath, half an hour body massage, free use of sauna, jacuzzi and gym.

Additional Information:  Guests who are traveling onto a hotel after the cruise and would like a transfer to the hotel should note that this can be arranged locally.

Additional Information: The order of the itineraries maybe amended as a result of low water levels, adverse weather conditions, lock closure or other unforeseen circumstances. Moorings at night are usually alongside other cruise vessels which may affect views from your cabin and sightseeing, when possible is organised to avoid the heat of the midday sun.  When mooring sometimes diesel fumes can be evident.

When joining a Nile cruise you are joining a cruise with an international client mix as the cruise will be accepting clients of many nationalities.

On entry into Egypt, you must obtain a visitors visa at the port of entry, the fee is £15 (subject to change). Sharm El Sheikh is considered a free zone, due to being located in the Sinai Peninsula. Travel on excursions outside the peninsula, the visitor’s visa is a requirement.

Please note:  For travel to most countries, a British passport must remain valid for at least 6 months after your scheduled return to the UK.
