Description:
A superb three story property nestled in the Playa Dorada
Complex in Puerto Plata, neighbours its sister property
Fun Tropicale and the challenging 18 hole golf course. All
facilities are shared by both hotels, which offer a wide
range of activities and entertainment. The resort is 650
m away from the golden beaches of Playa Dorada and just
10 min from the town of Puerto Plata.
Accommodation:
Fun Royale offers 168 superior rooms with one king size,
or two queen size beds. Some rooms have additional sofa
bed. All rooms offer individually controlled air conditioning,
colour and cable television, country, garden or golf course
view, and private bathroom with tub and shower. Most rooms
have a balcony.

Inclusive Food & Drinks: The AI programme consists
of breakfast (07:00-10:30), continental breakfast (10:30-11:30),
lunch (12:30-14:30) and dinner (18:00-21:30), all buffet
style, served in the main restaurant. During meals wine
is offered. Two specialty dinner restaurants are available
with reservation; the Il Mediterreaneo Italian restaurant
(A la Carte) & the Miranda Brazilian restaurant, with
seating 18:30-20:00 & 20:30-22:00. Snacks are available
from 12:00-15:00 in the Beach Club; night snacks at the
discotheque between 23:30 & 06:30. Tea time is from
16:00-17:00. Unlimited alcohol beverages, natural juices
and soft drinks are served at the beach club-bar (10:00-17:00),
Sultan bar (10:00-24:00), Popeye’s pool bar (11:00-17:00),
Banana’s bar (24hrs) and at the discotheque (23:00-02:00).
Popeye’s pizza open from 12:00-17:00 and welcome cocktail
& manager’s cocktail party (weekly) are available as
well.

Inclusive Sports & Entertainment: Sport facilities
at the hotel include three swimming pools, daily activity
programme (aerobics, volleyball, etc.) by the pool and beach
in several languages, scuba demo in the pool, two soft surface
illuminated tennis courts, bicycles, exercise room, ping-pong,
mini soccer as well as horse riding, non-motorized water
sports such as windsurfing, snorkeling, sailing, banana
boats and kayaks, Little Village Club-activities programme
for children, playground area under adult supervision for
ages 4 to 12 and mini golf open from 9:00-18:00. Night entertainment
featuring local and staff shows as well as free daily shuttle
service to and from the beach (08:30-17:00) are also available.
